On May, 6 2020 Germany extended uses of the flonicamid based insecticide: Teppeki.
This Plant Protection Product (PPP) used to be allowed on winter wheat against aphids. After this extension Teppeki is also registered for use in barley, oats, rye and triticale against aphids and also in winter barley against aphid vectors.
The extensions to the approval allow alternative to pesticides containing the neonicotinoid active ingredients like clothianidin, imidacloprid and thiamethoxam which are banned to be used outdoors.

Germany will revoke Biscaya plant protection product (PPP) on August 3, 2020
The cancellation also applies to the associated plant protection products of parallel trade. Both Biscaya and the parallel products could be used until February 3, 2021.
These periods result from the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/23 which rules the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance thiacloprid.

On April 17, Italy´s health ministry registered 3 emergency chlorpyrifos-methyl plant protection products (PPP) against Halyomorpha halys for use on apples, pears, nectarines and peaches: RELDAN™ 22 Cimice Asiatica, SUNDEK Cimice® and SUNDEK® Smart Cimice. These products can be used until August 15.

Today Germany has published that the approval of the plant protection products with the active ingredient epoxiconazole will be revoked on April 30th, 2020.

EU Regulation 2019/1582 has come into force today 16th of April 2020. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) have been modified for the active substance imazalil.
Various products are impacted and, among others, MRLs have been lowered for citrus fruits, potatoes, tomatoes, barley grains, oat grains, rye grains and wheat grains.

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has published a new amendment concerning Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs):

This amendment entered into force on April 7.
Glufosinate and Glufosinate-ammonium saw its MRLs lowered for Podded pea (young pods) from 1 to 0.05 PPM.
The MRL of Carbetamid for Pulses has also been set at the LOD (Limit Of Determination) of 0.01 PPM.

Today, ANVISA has proposed new Brazil MRL through DOU (Brazilian gazette) for: deltamethrin, florpyrauxifen-benzyl/Rinskor, picoxystrobin and thiamethoxam

EU Regulation 2019/1559 will come into force tomorrow the 7th of March 2020. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) for cyflufenamid, fenbuconazole, fluquinconazole will be modified.
Fenbuconazole will have its MRLs lowered for grapefruit, oranges, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashew nuts, chestnuts, coconuts, hazelnuts/cobnuts, macadamias, pecans, pine nut kernels, pistachios, walnuts and blueberries.
