The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has published a new amendment concerning Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs):
Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code — Schedule 20 - Maximum residue limits Variation Instrument No. APVMA 3, 2020.
This amendment entered into force on April 7.
Glufosinate and Glufosinate-ammonium saw its MRLs lowered for Podded pea (young pods) from 1 to 0.05 PPM.
The MRL of Carbetamid for Pulses has also been set at the LOD (Limit Of Determination) of 0.01 PPM.
